Workshop Details

Join us for an intermediate workshop with Bruce Griffiths the 7th & 8th of June, 9:30 AM - 4 PM. Bruce is an emotive artist searching for light and storyline. Painting traditional but incorporating semi-realism and juxtaposing impressionism. He paints what he sees but more importantly he paints what he feels about what he sees. Bruce’s experience in construction underpins much of his perspective works supplemented by a healthy dose of imagination. Bruce has both practical & formal qualifications including, being a CQU graduate, Artist in Residence at Falls Creek, past McGregor, an Art on the Barron tutor, prize-winning artist, exhibitor, workshop tutor & increasingly sought after for commissions, and a demonstrator of watercolour fine art & workshops. Over two days, we will aim to produce 3 or 4 paintings showcasing different watercolour techniques and subjects from the natural and built worlds. If you can only attend one day, please chose the booking option for your preferred day. A sketchbook will be used as a source. Themes for each day are shown below. Day 1 – Saturday, 7 June - Country & wilderness Day 2 – Sunday, 8 June - Urban & nature scenes Level: Intermediate Materials: A materials list will be circulated nearer the time Time: 9 am (for 9.30 start) to 4 pm each day Cost: $200 - Members for 2 days $240 - Non-Members for 2 days $100 - Members for 1 day $120 - Non-Members for 1 day Morning and afternoon tea are provided, but please bring a lunch along. Cancellation Policy

Transfer Policy We understand that sometimes plans change. If you find that you are unable to attend a workshop or class that you've registered for, you have the option to transfer your spot to another available class or workshop of equal value. Transfers must be requested at least 72 hours before the start of the original class or workshop. No Refunds Please note that we do not offer refunds for any of our workshops or classes. Once a purchase is made, it is final. However, you are welcome to transfer your registration as per the above policy.
